People Most Likely To Cheat Based On Physical, Mental & Work Situations

Hey there, Steve here and welcome to this week’s private eye post. Ashley Madison recently released the results of a survey they conducted where they detailed the most likely professions to cheat. For both men and women.

Whenever I get called for cheating partner investigations, I always note some of the physical and psychological factors that are involved. Stereotyping is not something we can ever use in an investigation. After all, we need proof for a client. But I find it interesting to discover the cheat “fits a profile.”

Today, I’m going to share with you the common characteristics that make someone more likely to be guilty of cheating.

#1 Cheating Headspace

There are lots of potential psychological factors that make cheating more likely. Ultimately, the cheat has to feel like it’s something that’s acceptable for the risk involved. If one of the following four are present, then the likelihood of cheating increases substantially.

  • The person is impulsive, or has little impulse control.
  • They grew up around cheating.
  • The consume a high amount of porn.
  • They have a higher than average IQ
#2 “Look Like” Cheat

There are certain physical characteristics a person possesses, which will mean they’re more prone to cheating.

  • If the person’s ring finger is longer when compared with their index finger. Applies to both men and women.
  • Blonde hair means more likely to cheat—both for men and women.
  • Good looking men have higher chances of cheating.
  • Average looking women cheat more than their good looking contemporaries.
#3 Cheating Profession

The sector a person works in will also determine the likelihood of cheating. Here are the top five professions for both men and women. The first item on each list is the highest chance of cheating.

Women — Medical, Education, Entrepreneurs, Finance, Social Work

Men — Trades, IT, Entrepreneurs, Retail & Hospitality, Finance

Summary

Use this information with care! Obviously, men and women who don’t fit any of this profile can cheat, and equally someone can tick every part of the profile and be more faithful than your pet dog.
