Whenever I have to tell a client their partner has cheated, I’m always surprised at how quickly they pinpoint the time things “went wrong.”

It seems the knowledge of the cheating gives them the hindsight they need. So, before we get into spotting the signs of cheating, it’s worth you taking a look at signs your partner is primed and ready to cheat.

They have to hide what they’re doing, right?

Pay attention to what your partner says and remember, how they say it, really matters. They probably aren’t accomplished liars and are likely to make mistakes — especially at first. Here’s what to look for…

Along with the verbal clues to catch a cheat, you should look for signs of incongruence with their body language. Body language is one of the most difficult things to cover up. If you know what to look for, it’s surprisingly easy to catch people out.
