Acting Weird — 4 Cheating Husband Behaviour Changes You Need To Know

Hey there, Steve here and welcome to this week’s private eye post, where we’ll be taking a look at the typical changes in behaviour by cheating husbands.

Whether they realise it or not, anyone who cheats leaves clues. A cheating husband has to lie to his wife, make time for the “other woman”, and find ways to assuage his guilt. There are reasons behind every person’s actions, so by observing your husband’s behaviour, you can ascertain the likelihood of him cheating.

We’re going to look at four of the most common behaviour changes cheating husbands make.

#1 Appearance Attention

Has hubby started spending much more time in front of the mirror? Has he gone shopping for new clothes, and tried a new haircut? What about some fancy new cologne?

We often find that cheating husbands are so predictable about the attention they pay to their appearance, it’s almost funny. Think back to the time before you were married, and when you were first dating. Is he acting similarly?

If he is, then this behaviour on its own is a reliable indicator of cheating. [And if he showers as soon as he comes home, it’s even more likely!]

#2 Sexual Behaviour Changes

There are two ways sexual behaviour can change when your man is cheating on you.

First, he may be learning some new sex tricks. For some reason, he thinks he’ll try them out in bed with you. You have to wonder where he learned the tricks. So, why he’d do this and arouse suspicion beggars belief, but we get reports of this happening in a lot of our cheating investigations.

Second, he shows no interest in being intimate with you. Now usually this isn’t entirely as black and white all sex or no sex. Instead, look for a decrease in his sexual appetite—especially on specific days, or at certain times of day if you’re more active.

The double-whammy combo—it’s not unusual for us to discover that both of these are occurring in a marriage where the husband is proven to be cheating. So, don’t think these two points are mutually exclusive.

#3 The Snappy Chappy

Has your husband become more short-tempered recently? He may snap at things he would never lift an eyebrow at before, or be less tolerant of other family members besides you.

Cheating husbands will start arguments over small issues to create distance from their wife. There are 3 reasons why they might do this.

Firstly, an argument is an excellent excuse to leave the house and go spend some time with his bit of fluff. Second, arguing helps to give him some justification for cheating on his unreasonable wife. Third, by creating emotional distance, he helps relieve some of the guilt he feels.

#4 Weird Friends

In a recent post, I wrote about how to tell a lot about a girl by her friends. Well, a man’s friends can also provide some deep insight into his character. Many men who cheat will hang out with other men who cheat. Mostly, men bond over their similarities, and in this case they have common ground with their attitude towards cheating.

So, the first warning sign is if they’re hanging out with male friends who you know to be players.

But there’s also another aspect to man’s friends—how they behave around you. Are they treading on eggshells? If you ask them an innocent question about time they were hanging out with your husband do they seem nervous to answer? Or vague when talking? It might be because they’re covering for your man, don’t want to drop him in it but at the same time, they don’t want to lie either.

Summary

Everyone’s behaviour is for a reason. No-one does anything without some kind of motivation for doing so. This holds true for every case of a cheating husband I have ever investigated, and it’s highly likely to hold true in your marriage too.
